How Working With Us Works

Eight steps from the first enquiry to a delivered shipment, with a named merchandiser, an approval calendar and a written specification at every stage.

The process

Eight steps, in order

01

Enquiry

Send a tech pack, a photograph or a physical sample with target quantity, target price, destination market and required date.

02

Quotation

A costed quotation within one working day, with fabric, labour, trims and packing shown separately, plus MOQ and lead time.

03

Specification lock

The approved specification — measurements, fabric, trims, labelling, packing — is written into the purchase order and version-controlled.

04

Fabric approval

Lab dip, hand-feel swatch and, where relevant, shrinkage and colour fastness tests, approved before bulk fabric is committed.

05

Sampling

Fit sample in 5–7 days, then a graded size set and a pre-production sample in the final fabric and trims.

06

Pre-production sign-off

The signed PP sample, plus fabric and trim approvals, releases bulk production. The deposit is scheduled against this point.

07

Production & inspection

Cutting, sewing and finishing with in-line checks at 30% and 70%, then an AQL 2.5 final audit and a measurement report.

08

Packing & shipment

Packing to the approved specification, a carton audit, then export documentation and delivery to your forwarder.

Inspection reports

AQL 2.5 final audit result, measurement report and photo documentation with every shipment.

Export documents

Commercial invoice, packing list, B/L or AWB, certificate of origin and any buyer-specific certificate.

FAQ

Process questions

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ is 300–1,000 pieces per style, mixed sizes. Styles using stock fabric can start from 300 pieces; a fully custom knit or dye lot usually starts at 1,000 pieces per colour. Tell us your target quantity and we will confirm what is achievable.

How long does sampling take?

A development sample takes 5–7 working days after artwork and fabric are confirmed. A full size set takes 10–12 working days. Sample cost is credited against the bulk order.

What is the lead time for bulk production?

Bulk production runs 15–45 days from deposit and approved pre-production sample, depending on quantity, fabric availability and trim lead times. We confirm the schedule in writing before you pay the deposit.

Which payment terms do you accept?

T/T (30% deposit, 70% against the copy of the bill of lading), L/C at sight, and PayPal for samples. Terms are confirmed in the proforma invoice.

Can you handle fabric, labels and packaging as well?

Yes. Fabric knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery, labels, hangtags and retail packaging all sit inside our own supply chain, so a single purchase order covers the finished, retail-ready product.

How do you control quality?

Every order passes an incoming fabric inspection, an in-line check at 30% and 70% of the run, a final AQL 2.5 inspection before packing, and a shipment check against the approved sample and packing list.

How much of my time does this take?

A typical programme needs four decisions from you: approve the quotation, approve the fabric, approve the sample and approve the packing. Each takes a day if the information is in front of you. Everything else is ours.

What if I need to change the specification mid-production?

Changes are possible until bulk cutting starts and are written as a revision to the specification. After cutting, a change becomes a new order — which is why the pre-production sign-off is treated as the commitment point.

Why the process is written down

Most sourcing problems are not quality problems; they are sequencing problems. A specification confirmed by email after the fabric was knitted. A packing format agreed after the cartons were printed. A fit change requested after grading. Each of those is cheap to fix before a date and expensive to fix after it.

Our process exists to put dates on decisions. The approval calendar we publish with each order lists what you need to decide, when, and what happens downstream if the date slips — so a delay is a known trade-off rather than a surprise three weeks later.

The commitment point

Bulk production is released by the signed pre-production sample, not by the purchase order. That protects both sides: you confirm the product is right before the factory commits to thousands of pieces, and the factory can price and schedule against a specification that will not move. The deposit is scheduled against the same point.

What happens when something goes wrong

Things go wrong in manufacturing. A fabric lot fails testing, a print strike-off is the wrong shade, a machine drifts halfway through a run. What matters is when the problem is found and how quickly it is reported. Our standing rule is that a problem is reported to the customer the day it is found, with the options and the cost of each, before a decision is taken on our side.

Working with a sourcing agent or an existing QC team

Many customers sit between us and their retail buyer, or run their own inspection team in China. Both work well: we share the specification and the approval calendar with whoever needs it, and schedule third-party inspections alongside production rather than after it.
