At 140–170 gsm with 8% elastane for a supportive pouch, this knit is suited to premium basics, subscription programmes and gift packs. It dries 2–3 hours, which matters more on a boxer brief than on a brief because there is more fabric against the skin.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is 300–1,000 pieces per style, mixed sizes. Styles using stock fabric can start from 300 pieces; a fully custom knit or dye lot usually starts at 1,000 pieces per colour. Tell us your target quantity and we will confirm what is achievable.
How long does sampling take?
A development sample takes 5–7 working days after artwork and fabric are confirmed. A full size set takes 10–12 working days. Sample cost is credited against the bulk order.
What is the lead time for bulk production?
Bulk production runs 15–45 days from deposit and approved pre-production sample, depending on quantity, fabric availability and trim lead times. We confirm the schedule in writing before you pay the deposit.
Which payment terms do you accept?
T/T (30% deposit, 70% against the copy of the bill of lading), L/C at sight, and PayPal for samples. Terms are confirmed in the proforma invoice.
Can you handle fabric, labels and packaging as well?
Yes. Fabric knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery, labels, hangtags and retail packaging all sit inside our own supply chain, so a single purchase order covers the finished, retail-ready product.
How do you control quality?
Every order passes an incoming fabric inspection, an in-line check at 30% and 70% of the run, a final AQL 2.5 inspection before packing, and a shipment check against the approved sample and packing list.
Is micro modal the right choice for a contour pouch?
It can be, provided the pattern allows for the stretch. 8% elastane for a supportive pouch — where recovery is lower we adjust the pouch panel rather than increasing the elastane, which would change the hand feel.
How should the garment be laundered?
Cool wash and line dry; heat is what ages a fine modal knit. We prepare the care labelling for the destination market and test shrinkage against that wash condition.

140–170 gsm is the working weight for this programme. Light enough to stay comfortable under trousers, heavy enough to be opaque in pale colours and to hold a pouch shape rather than collapsing into it.
Stretch, recovery and the pouch
8% elastane for a supportive pouch. A contour pouch asks more of a knit than a flat panel, because the fabric has to extend in two directions at once without thinning. Where recovery is limited we change the pattern geometry rather than adding elastane, which would alter the hand feel the fabric was chosen for.
Care and wear life
Cool wash and line dry; heat is what ages a fine modal knit. Underwear is laundered more often than any other garment in a wardrobe, so the care instruction is a design decision: it decides whether the garment still looks new after twenty washes or loses its shape in the first five.

Production note: fine modal shows every construction fault, so we inspect pouch symmetry and waistband alignment as separate operations on these programmes.
